What is Mount Hyjal in WoW Forever?

World of Warcraft: Forever returns to Mount Hyjal as a fully explored part of original-era Azeroth. Blizzard frames the region around the aftermath of Archimonde’s defeat and the stories left behind on the mountain.

The reveal also calls attention to Darkwhisper Gorge, an area long visible in Warcraft history but not used as a normal leveling destination in original WoW.

Is Mount Hyjal a leveling zone or endgame zone?

Blizzard has presented Mount Hyjal as part of the expanded 1–60 world, but exact quest levels and progression routes should be verified in beta. The area is also tied to level-60 endgame through the Hyjal Summit raid.

What is Hyjal Summit?

Hyjal Summit is one of the first new raids announced for Forever and is planned for 20 players. Raid encounters, bosses and loot will be documented after beta or official encounter information becomes available.

What will this guide add later?

The beta version will add quest hubs, level ranges, travel access, important NPCs, Darkwhisper Gorge routes, profession nodes and links between the outdoor zone and raid content.
