What is the Hyjal Summit raid in WoW Forever?

Hyjal Summit is a new 20-player raid planned for World of Warcraft: Forever, built around one of Warcraft’s most important locations. It launches as part of the first new raid wave alongside the smaller 10-player Barrow Deeps experience.

How many players is Hyjal Summit designed for?

Blizzard has confirmed a 20-player format. That makes Hyjal Summit the larger of the two opening Forever raids, while Barrow Deeps is described as a 10-player maximum-level challenge.

The initial reveal does not establish every lockout or difficulty rule, so this wiki will not copy assumptions from Classic or modern WoW and label them as Forever mechanics.

When does Hyjal Summit unlock?

The first new raid content is scheduled to unlock on December 9, 2026, after the November 4 global launch. See the raid unlock schedule for the date in context.

The gap gives players time to complete the 1–60 journey, explore the new zones, run dungeons and adapt to class changes before raid progression begins. The WoW Forever roadmap tracks the larger post-launch sequence.

What bosses are in Hyjal Summit?

Blizzard has not published a complete final boss roster in the initial reveal. Boss names and mechanics will be added once official documentation or the playable build verifies them.

Future sections will focus on role-specific strategy, major raid checks, positioning and wipe mechanics rather than simply listing spell names. Every beta-era revision will be tied to a last-reviewed date.

What rewards are confirmed?

Blizzard has teased new tier sets and a legendary reward connected with the opening raid wave. The reveal does not yet provide a reliable boss-by-boss drop table for Hyjal Summit.

How is the raid connected to Mount Hyjal?

Forever revisits Mount Hyjal as a playable region after the events surrounding Archimonde’s defeat, including Darkwhisper Gorge and the consequences left behind in the area. Hyjal Summit extends that renewed focus into group endgame content.
