Which raids are confirmed for WoW Forever?

Blizzard has announced two opening raid destinations for World of Warcraft: Forever: Barrow Deeps and Hyjal Summit.

  • Barrow Deeps: planned as a maximum-level 10-player raid challenge.
  • Hyjal Summit: planned as a 20-player raid at one of Warcraft’s most important locations.

For the outdoor connection, read the Mount Hyjal guide. For pre-raid progression, see the nine new dungeons and level-60 design.

When do WoW Forever raids unlock?

Blizzard’s roadmap says the new raids unlock on December 9, 2026, roughly a month after the November 4 global launch.

That gives players time to level, complete dungeon quests, earn gear, level professions and establish groups before the first major raid progression window.

Will there be tier sets?

Yes. Blizzard explicitly says the first raid content will include new tier sets. The studio has also teased a legendary reward without fully revealing it yet.

Exact set bonuses, item levels, boss drops and legendary requirements will be added only after Blizzard publishes them or the beta/client data can be checked directly.

Are more raids coming later?

Yes. Blizzard’s roadmap says Forever will continue with more raids, dungeons, PvP updates, world content, additional quests, Hardcore, and a revamped iconic raid.

That matches the broader promise described in What Is WoW Forever?: this is intended to be a continuously developed version of Azeroth rather than a one-season experiment.
